Beautiful city

Well, I think we have a beautiful nation’a capital and it’s 80 degrees so it’s amazing! Put on plenty of sunscreen and wandered around this morning down to the World War II Memorial.

Then I went to one of the Smithsonian Art museums but got told I could not come in with the pepper spray key chain I had…He told me whatever I did with it outside was up to me. So as I was trying to hide it in a bush a maintenance man asked me if I needed help. And when I said no, he told me I was looking at the irrigation valve. I was sure it would have been removed by the time I got out of the museum but it was still there! They had an Empress exhibit that was cool.

After that I headed to the Museum of Natural History, with my pepper spray hidden. That was amazing and I wish I had more time to spend there!! I want to go back but I headed back to my hostel that has a lovely rooftop deck!
