So Saturday I went and had an amazing breakfast of blackberry stuffed French toast with mango whipped cream, eggs and bacon! I managed to walk smack into the middle of Nashville’s Cherry Blossom festival… which seemed to be more about cos play and anime… and somehow there was a religious protest too?
Then after the rain let up I went on a trolley hop on/hop off tour. We were surround my plenty of “woo” girls on bachelorette drunk mobiles
I stopped at the country music hall of fame. The first floor was free and had an exhibit and shop that still does the original letter press printing for concert flyers etc. by a company Hatch Show Print. the artist in me loved it!

This bottom one is by an artist who was an alumni of their shop, but I didn’t photograph his name and don’t remember. Then back on the trolley until I got off at Marathon Motor Company, which is an old car company that went bankrupt years ago and was made into a museum and shopping area. They still had tons of old car parts including some of the original sewing machines that did the car interiors.

They also happened to have a winery with $3 wine slushees! Win! There was also Tennessee Legend Distillery, which offered free tastings! And in retrospect, I should have bought the apple pie moonshine to take home.
It certainly is the Bible Belt down here. I was getting hungry by this point so I opted not to get off at the art museum and head back to my hostel.
I later went out to Acme Feed and Seed. The bar on the second floor had a horrible bar tender but the guys downstairs were good. Plus I got to watch the Nashville Enablers perform, not that I had heard of them before but they were a lot of fun.
